Classic Citrus Art Print

This is a limited edition print of original collaged artwork, created on acid-free, archival quality paper. Every print comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and you will own one of a run of only one hundred prints.

 

Inspiration
A collaged display of lemon tree branches in a classic blue and white vase.

 

How It's Made
To make textured paper for my collaged pieces, She spreads acrylic paint onto gelatine plates and then layers on different types of paper. She finds that deli and tracing papers achieve really interesting finishes.

After peeling off the paper and leaving it to dry, She prints different layers onto it using sequin waste, corrugated card and other discarded materials. She then studies the finished paper and begin to cut it into shapes suitable for the finished artwork. Creating collaged pieces in this way enables me to explore texture in a way that just can’t be replicated when solely using paint.
